Abstract
As for the prestressed concrete structure permitted crack formation under the service load, its general idea and also design method are clearly developed. But its actual structural image for design is not yet clear. Then, in case of post-tensioned concrete T-beam bridge, the structural dimensions and economy are investigated for various load intensity, span length and allowable concrete tensile strength. For design of pertial prestressed concrete T-beam bridge, traditional design method are available mostly. Economic benefit obtained from employing this structure are about five percent reduction of the direct construction cost of full prestressed concrete structure.
