State-of-the-Art on Nondestructive Testing of Concrete

Abstract

There are many methods for nondestructive testing of concrete. This paper describes the available nondestructive tests for evaluation of existing concrete structures with regard to their strength and other properties and the future of nondestructive tests. The methods discussed include surface hardness and penetration tests, ultrasonic pulse velocity, break off, pullout and combined methods.
