Design and Construction by Using Prestressed Concrete Flat Beams

Abstract

Prestressed concrete flat beams combined with ribbed slabs are adopted in the construction of warehouse for Koshigaya whalesale center. Flat type duct anchorage for prestressing are developed and used for making tendons arrangement easy in small depth of flat beam, and for prestressing effectively to beam section. This report describes on the design and the construction of prestressed concrete flat beams, the test results of friction coefficients of flat type duct and measured results of vibration on beams and slabs.
