Abstract
The 30 storied highrise condominium building in “Park City Shinkawasaki” is the highest reinforced concrete building in Japan. This building is a frame structure above ground line and was constructed by using “HiRC System” developed by Kajima Corporation. The exterior columns of the lower parts of this building were used the confined reinforced concrete columns with centrated core bars, which are improved “Kajima Spiral Column” and high strength concrete having a design strength of 420 kgf/cm2 was placed. This report describes the outline of this building and the results of quality control of high strength concrete having design strength between 420 kgf/cm2 and 360 kgf/cm2.
