Abstract
Technologies to utilize expansive energies of both expansive concretes and non-explosive demolition agents have been developed and applied widely in Japan. The expansive concretes are mainly used to improve quality of concrete structures and concrete products. This paper summarizes research results concerning estimation methods of expansive energy produced in uniaxial restrained state and multiaxial restrained one. The estimating method of expansive energy due to alkali-aggregate reaction is also referred.
