Abstract
Shimizugaoka bridge of the Yokohama city expressway route 2 is located in an urban area near the central business district of Yokohama city. The bridge is designed in reinforced concrete arch with a bridge length of 75 m and an arch span of 50 m. It needs delicate considerations in planning, design, and construction, because the bridge is constructed in a residential district. This report gives outlines of the planning, design, and construction of the arch bridge.
