Abstract
Almost 100 prestressed concrete cable stayed bridges had been constructed in Japan. Design techniques had greatly developed, and the standard for prestressed concrete cable stayed bridges had been established. In this article, the present techniques of the design for prestressed concrete cable stayed bridges are introduced along with the examples of constructed bridges. This kind of bridges such as extra-dosed prestressed concrete bridge and prestressed concrete bridge with prestressed concrete stays are also reported.
