Abstract
We are studying design method of the railway structure with no footing beams in order to decrease excavations beside tracks, from a point of view of safety during neighboring construction works with railwaytracks. In this report, we introduce the design method of over-track buildings and of land bridges with no footing beams. On designing, we basically use statically elasto-plastic analysis with connecting models of columns and piles. We prescribe the order of yield mechanism occurrence, and that the column-pile joints do not yield.
