Outline of Standard Specification for Concrete Structures [Maintenance] JSCE 2001

Abstract

The first edition of Standard Specification for Concrete Structures [Maintenance] was published by the Japan Society of Civil Engineers in January 2001. This paper describes the background and features of the new specification. Especially, a basic concept of performance verification for existing concrete structures, and, scenario for lifetime of concrete structures are explained briefly.
