Development of Precast Concrete Girder for High-rise RC Buildings Prestressed on Pretension System

Abstract

In order to rationalize RC buildings which have long span frames, precast concrete girder that is pre-stressed on pretension system is developed. Bond characteristics of PC strand after earthquake are examined and confirmed. The developed girder is applied to a high-rise condominium that is being built in Sendai. Measured data on this building are also reported.
