Cementitious grouts for post-tensioned structures usually posses either high or low viscosity. Grouting of low viscosity types lead the flow rapidly in the downward duct and resulting the poor filling in the case of long waved ducts which used on long PC bridges. On the other hand, grouts with high viscosity do not flow rapidly, but increase the grouting pressure and filling up of the whole duct at once is impossible. Use of such grout is inefficient as they need to be injected step by step. In order to solve these problems, a new grout with high thixotropy was developed which possesses high filling ability at low grouting pressure. In this paper, properties and results from the mock up test of the new grout was reported.
