Abstract
The number of cases that uses concrete containing moderate-heat portland cement and low-heat portland cement for building works increases. This paper reports on the results of experiments regarding effects on strength development and durability of concrete in structure by initial moist curing periods using the cements. Based on the results of this experiments, the authors confirmed the following. When we use these cements, like the case using the normal portland cement, even if we discontinue moist curing when we got the certain compressive strength, there is no decrease in strength development and durability.
