Abstract
Iwate co-op recycles 10t more of waste cooking vegetable oil from members. They are the biggest movement in Iwate prefecture, however the quality of the waste cooking oil is unclear so that co-ops are not able to estimate their status in waste cooking oil recycle movement. The aims of this article are to clarify the quality of Iwate co-op's collected oil, their cooking usage behind the quality and compere the quality among co-op and other bio-diesel producers. We researched acid value as a quality index, and we found co-op members' oil has higher quality than other bio-diesel producers.
