Abstract
In this research, an investigation was conducted on how public junior high schools seized the work of school counselors (SC) and what sort of school system was created to effectively utilize SC. An investigation of implementation at multiple schools was conducted. First, an interview survey was conducted of 20 teachers. Of the respondents, the responses of eight teachers who were in a position with knowledge of the creation of the school system related to SC at the school they worked at were chosen to be subjects for analysis. As a result, 25 small categories were obtained. By organizing small categories into those that has a close relationship with each other, the small categories were organized under five large categories. These categories were “Awareness of SC”, “Holding of lectures and workshops”, “Use of individual teachers”, “Creation of a school committee in which SC participates” and “Assigning cases SC mainly by the teacher in charge of SC”. Through this research, it was concluded that the influence of the teacher in charge of SC and the principal and SC factors are important in the school systems related to SC.
