Educational effects of the conflict in moral dilemma programs to ease transportation problems

Abstract

In this study, we introduced two types of educational program to intend to let students to experience moral dilemma based on Kohlberg's stages of moral development. We analyzed the effect of the program through measuring student's attitude modification to use the frame of Schwarz's norm activation theory by questionnaire survey implemented at before and after the program. In the result, student's attitude modification between before and after the program was suggested, and different psychological factor was activated by two types of program. These results were corresponded to the implementer's intention, and indicate that the educational program to develop moral obligation in this study was effective.
