Abstract
One of the captivating aspects of railway travel in regional cities is the scenic beauty observed from the train windows. This allows passengers to experience the unique characteristics of various terrains and regions, from tranquil rural landscapes to vibrant urban cityscapes, depending on the specific rail route. In this study, we aimed to visualize these railway landscapes on a two-dimensional plane using digital tools. Firstly, we collected data related to railway scenic views and explored methods for representing them in a more comprehensible and linear fashion. This approach enables individuals to understand the scenic views of different regions even before embarking on their train journeys. Furthermore, by deciphering the intrinsic relationship between regional railways and their surrounding environments, this methodology not only enhances the quality of travel experiences but also provides fundamental insights for regeneration plans around stations and along railway lines.
