Abstract
The mature male and female of Sternomoera yezoensis (Ueno, 1933) from Hokkaido, northern Japan, are described for the first time. The outer rami of pleopods 1-2, especially that of pleopod 2, in the male differ in structure from those of the female. This species is differentiated from other Sternomoera spp. in possessing a shallow inferior antennal sinus and in having 2 rather than 5-10 notches on epimeron 3.
