Abstract
We calculated the charge distribution of Saponite, Hectorite, Montmorillonite, etc. clays by the semi-empirical MO method (MOPAC/PM3,PM5). Structure change of dye molecule adsorped on the clay surface was studied. And we studied between clay and dye by the partial structure optimization around the isomorphic substitution position.
