Abstract
The reconstruction of the heat-treated LDH by the action of water is know as one of the preparation methods of LDHs. To investigate the effects of ionic species in the aqueous solution used for reconstruction on the composition and morphology of the product, the reconstruction of MgAl-LDH was conducted in water containing various inorganic salts. The effect of the ionic species on these characteristics will be presented and discussed.
