Abstract

Recently the exfoliated ultrathin sheets have attracted an extensive attention because of their application to thin film-type electronic devices. Smectite clay minerals are a unique candidate because of their abundance in nature and kindness for environment. For these purposes, we have prepared a cast film of exfoliated clay and studied its electric conduction.
