Abstract
Among a variety of layered inorganic compounds, smectite clay minerals are a unique candidate because of their abundance in nature and kindness for environment. For these purposes, we have prepared a cast film of exfoliated clay (synthetic hectorite) and studied its electronic conduction through the hetero-interface.
