Abstract
Several methods for delaminating LDHs in media have been reported recently. Delaminated LDH lamellae are stably dispersed in medium, but they aggregate when the medium is lost by evaporation. If delaminated LDH lamellae are fixed in porous matrix in well-dispersed state, it would be anticipated that obtained hybrid material would find applications such as new adsorbents for anions. For this purpose, preparation of hybrid hydrogels containing layered double hydroxides has been carried out in the present study.
