Abstract
The tolerant and susceptible characteristics of the rice plants to the environmental disturbances, especially in response to drought stress, not only involve metabolic process but also directly relate to the mechanism of which rice maintain internal water content. In this connection, stomatal behaviour to conserve and root capacity to absorb water in the changing environment play an importance role. The objective of this study is to clarify varietal difference in water use behaviour of rice plants.
