Research on the State of Real Estate Support of Facilities that Serve as Basis of Operation in which Residents Self-governing Organizations Manage Autonomously

Abstract

This study aimed to compare the two support systems related to real estate that the neighborhood association owns (citizen self-governing organization and approved territorial groups) in Kawazaki City, Kanagawa prefecture, in order to review the details of support given. The research method was interview and literature research, conducting an analysis of the characteristics and issues of the support system. The results revealed the following: 1) the financing system at the time of acquiring the system is important, 2) It is important to improve the revenue by renting out the facilities.
