Abstract
In the establishment of theories of motion for planets, moons, and other celestial bodies, and man-made satellites, various numerical values are required. These numerical values are determined by observation. It is therefore possible that the numerical values used in theories of motion differ from the true values. In many such cases, the influence of such differences is extremely small, and can be considered negligible for practical purposes. There are, however, some cases where differences that have been considered negligible in the past do, in fact, need to be considered. Furthermore, even the specialists who establish the theories of motion have not identified some of these significant discrepancies. In these research notes, I demonstrate this phenomenon by giving some concrete examples.
