Abstract
Abraxane for injectable suspension is an albumin-bound nanoparticle formulation of paclitaxel. The new formulation enables intraveneous infusion of paclitaxel for 30 minutes without premedication as it does not contain any surfactant and alcohol. Pharmaceutical properties and highlight of clinical study results of Abraxane are described.
