Abstract
In recent years, multimodal ethnographic approaches have garnered increasing attention, particularly within
cultural anthropology, a discipline rooted in immersive fieldwork. This research examines the potential and significance of
incorporating serious games (SGs) into autoethnographic practice through the creation of an SG-based ethnography. Through
this approach, we propose exploring new directions in SG-based ethnography and consider the broader potential of
integrating anthropological perspectives into SG research.
