Abstract
The rontgen analyses were made by the writers of the soil colloids (below Iμ) which were obtained from 32 selected soils, representing the varied geological and petrographical soil formations in the western Japan. By comparison with the results obtained by Hendricks, Fry, and Nagelschmidt, it was shown that all the diffraction patterns of the colloids resembled respectively to that of halloysite, independent of their geological and petrographical origins.
