Abstract
As the first step of an investigation of the influence of sorrounding conditions up on the fertilizer ratios, the writers were intended to study the relation of temperature to that ratio of the fertilizer given to wheat and rice plant. And the results obtained was already published in this journal vol IX (1935) and vol XI (1937)respectively.The present paper embodies the result obtained on the relation between the rainfall and the fertilizer ratios given to wheat plant. The following equation in the case of P_2O_5 to N was found to denote clearly the relation existing between the ratio and the rainfall. [numerical formula] [numerical formula] where R_1 : annual rainfall R_2 : rainfall during the growth perio of the plant. This indicates that the ratio of P_2O_5 to N is high at the district of high rainfall, decreasing lenearly as the rainfall decreases. So, the ratio as a function of both temperature and rainfall is [numerical formula] [numerical formula] In the case of K_2O to N, the following equation was obtained obtained. [numerical formula] [numerical formula] This represents also that the same tendency of relation between the rainfall and the ratio is seen even in the case of K_2O to N. So, the ratio as a function of both temperature and rainfall can be represented as follows : - [numerical formula] [numerical formula]
