Abstract
This article reports an overview and catalogue of the documents of Ichida family in the collection of Takenaka Carpentry Tools Museum. Ichida family produced master carpenters Jurobee and Tatsuzo Ichida, flourished in Meiji and Taisho period. Main contents are as follows.
1. The documents include drawings and papers on the major works of Jurobee and Tatsuzo Ichida, such as Higashi Hongan-ji, Bukko-ji and Chion-in.
2. They build not only temples and shrines, but residences and schools around their hometown. It represents varied activities by the master carpenters of the Meiji period.
