Abstract
This report is on the investigation and gathering about the carpenter's and Woodworker's tools in Italy. The main contents are as follows：
1. in Italy the wooden buildings in which all the main structure becomes wood is extremely limited. In general, the work by the carpenters is only a roofing structure and a flooring structure, and another wooden work except these is made by woodworkers.
2. it introduces the type of woodworker’s tools and how to use them based on a book that a museum had summarized tools related to wood working in the northeastern part of Italy
