Abstract
A warm-water gastropod, Thais bronni(Dunker), stranded along the coast of Rebun Island, Hokkaido is examined. T.bronni is also associated with rocky bottom elements such as Niveotectura pallida, Chlorostoma lischkei and Omphalius rusticus. Occurrence of T.bronni is probably related to higher sea surface temperature in the northern Japan Sea since 2010. The stranding record of T.bronni extends to about 45°20′ N along the Japan Sea side.
