A Case Study on Integrated Information Service System Implementation based on National Highway ITS

Abstract

This study is designed to devise a plan for provision of safe and efficient public services, and toward this end, a case of information connection with other systems is dealt with, targeting national highway ITS construction sections within the district of Busan Regional Construction Management Administration. As effects of information connection, it is expected that efficiency of business operation will be maximized by establishing integrated information management system to control road, traffic, flood and tunnel within the district of Busan Regional Construction Management Administration, and the damage from disasters will be minimized. In addition, the cost for communication network construction is effectively reduced by using self-communication network of already installed national highway ITS in Busan Regional Construction Management Administration when constructing comprehensive flood forecasting communication network.
