A New Species of the Genus Allochthonius (Pseudoscorpion, Chthoniidae) from Mt. Kohshin, Tochigi Prefecture, Central Japan

Abstract

A new pseudoscorpion species, Allochthonius montanus sp. nov., is described from Mt. Kohshin, Tochigi Pref., central Japan, belonging to the family Chthoniidae. It is characteristic in the chaetotaxy on carapace and in the length and the number of blades of coxal spine on coxa I.
