Abstract
The actual status of protein intake by 56 students of a women's junior college was investigated. The results are summarized as follows.
1) The value of protein intake obtained from the survey of meal intake was 52.4±11.1g/day. This value was about 12% lower than that of protein allowance.
2) The value of urea excretion was also about 50% lower than that of the normal value.
3) Although the values of protein intake and urea excretion were low, those of plasmic total protein and albumin were normal.
These results suggest that the amount of protein intake of women's junior college students was low.
