Abstract
This paper took a look at the international trends in Geographical Education, principally through analysis of the curriculum in England, Australia, Hong Kong, and South Korea. The result can be summarized as follows: 1) Con-ceptual or thematic approach plays a major role in geography curriculum; 2) The emphasis in the learning method is on geographical inquiry based learning and using ICT as geographical skill; 3) The promotion of citizenship for the sustainable society is an important aim in values and attitudes.
