We have shown that our new analytical system using light scattering method was useful for rapid measurement of phase transition temperatures of liquid crystalline materials. In the present study we show the relation between the rate of heating(cooling) and phase transition points detected by our system. The results showed that detected temperatures of phase transition points were almost constant for the heating(cooling) rate range between 5-40℃/min. This feature will contribute to shortening of measurement time when this system is applied for a combinatorial synthesis system.
