Abstract
We proposed a wide-viewing field and high speeding observation method for rubbed polyimide film for LCDs. The reflected light from the rubbed polyimide film was detected by an analyzer perfectly crossed with polarizer. The light was imaged by a 2-dimension Charge Coupled Devices camera. We could successfully observe the in-plane distribution image of alignment of polyimide on Si, glass and Color Filter substrate.
