Abstract
A series of the novel triphenylenes with polymeries functional groups in the terimal part of peripheral chains was synthesized to show hexagonal columnar (Colh) mesophase. The charged carrier mobility was evaluated by Time-Of-Flight (TOF) method to reveal that the mobilities are in the order of 10-4cmVs-1.This result is in the same order of the mobility alkoxyl for triphenylene analogues. In the (Colh)phase, the positive carrier mobilities exhibited positive temperature-dependence.
