Abstract
A dichiral liquid crystal molecule M7BBM7 is known to show the SmQ three-dimensional liquid crystal phase which has tetragonal symmetry.Quite recently, a novel compound similar to this M7BBM7 was found to show the sponge phase at the higher temperature side to the SmQ phase.In this study, we have tried to approach the three-dimensional structure of the SmQ phase of the M7BBM7 molecule with using molecular simulations.
