Abstract
Liquid crystalline (LC) nano-micelle which consists of water, low molecular weight liquid crystals and amphiphilic polymers with mesogenic group on their side chains, is studied for the application to Drug Delivery System (DDS). In order to investigate the holding property of LC nano-miocelle, we used the dye whose absorption spectrum in LC is different from that in water as marker molecules. It was found that used nano-micelle increases its holding property with increasing in temperature from temperature dependence of the absorption spectrum of the marker molecules.
