Abstract
A photoconductive compound and an electron accepter were mixed with a ferroelectric liquid crystal(FLC), and the mixtures were injected into 10μm and 20μm thick cells. Uniformly aligned surface stabilized state was obtained even in 20μm thick samples. Ferroelectricity and photorefractive properties of those samples were examined. The relationship between photorefractive properties and of the thickness of the FLC cell was discussed.
