We have studied on carrier mobility and thermal properties of metal 1, 4, 8, 11, 15, 18, 22, 25-octahexylphthalocyanine. The thermal properties were investigated by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and polarized optical microscopy. By using copper or nickel as a center metal, the discotic columnar phases appeared. The voltage and temperature dependences of carrier mobility were measured by the time-of- flight technique and discussed about ambipolar properties by comparing with metal-free 1, 4, 8, 11, 15, 18, 22, 25-octahexylphthalocyanine.
