S3 Monocular Head-Up Display with Depth Enhancement Capability

Abstract

We developed a novel depth perception control method for a monocular head-up display. The method utilizes movement of picture on the HUD as a depth perception cue and achieves a depth perception position of 120m with an error of 30%.
