We fabricated the liquid-crystalline nano-emulsions (LCNEs) composed of Smectic A (SmA) liquid crystals in the core part dispersing in water. We confirmed the one-dimensional layer order and the SmA-Nematic (N) phase transition in LCNEs by the X-ray scattering and the depolarized static light scattering, respectively. Additionally, we investigated the mixing process of LC molecules in the core part in the binary LCNE system consisting of SmA- and N- LCNEs. The mixing dynamics becomes slow as the one-dimensional layer order develops on cooling, which suggests that the one-dimensional layer order dramatically affects the mobility of LC molecules in LCNEs.
