Abstract
Grating liquid crystal (LC) cell with twisted alignment was fabricated by using nematic LC doped chiral molecules (C15) and photocrosslinkable polymer LC as the alignment layer. The purpose of this study is to determine the doping effect of chiral molecules. As a result, disclinations are shifted by doping the chiral molecules. Furthermore, the dependence of plus and minus first-order diffraction properties on the chiral molecules concentrations are varied.
