Abstract

A polarization imaging system using liquid crystal polarization grating (LCPG) has been developed. By combining LCPG and camera, we can create imaging system that is able to attain the polarization image with comprehensive polarization parameters. Beside of that, illuminating variety state of polarization (SoP) of polarized light makes the attempt to enhance polarization image become possible. Our system could be applied widely in variety of imaging fields such as LiDAR, defective product judgment and bio-imaging.
