Abstract

In this research, the synthesized perovskite nanosheet colloid with structural color was immobilized into polymer hydrogel by in-situ photo-initiated polymerization to develop a novel mechanochromic material. The parallel structure of nanosheet inner the gel was confirmed by UV-Vis reflective spectrum, small angle X-ray scattering. The structural color of the hydrogel is adjustable in full-color range. The hydrogel exhibits a reversible mechanochromic property of responding to weak mechanical stimuli less than 1 kPa within 1 ms. These excellent properties can be applied to mechano sensors and displays.
