Abstract
The ingestion of collagen peptide has beneficial effects on the skin and joints. However, its
effects on immunity have not yet been elucidated. In this study, the ingestion of fish-derived
collagen peptide for 8 weeks significantly improved Scoring of Immunological Vigor score relative
to that of the placebo(dextrin) group. On murine allergy model, Collagen-peptide ingestion
suppressed allergic responses by improving the balance of Th1 and Th2 cells.
