This standard wooden piece has a conductivity of 0.3×10-3 along its lateral direction and this is about 90% of the value of its longitudinal direction. The cellotex has a conductivity of 70% of wood along longitudinal direction and 73% along lataral direction, therefore the value of their conductivities are 0.22×10-3 and 0.23×10-3 respectively along both directions. These values show that the cellotex is surely a good insulater for heat and may be very useful as a material of architecture for the purpose of heat-protection.
